Return your online order by mail and print your prepaid return label using our interactive return tool. You will need your order number, email, and zip code.
All About Returns
We want you to love what you’ve ordered, but just in case, online purchases can be returned to any Janie and Jack store in the U.S. (excluding Outlet stores and closing stores) or through the mail. Merchandise may also be returned if defective, or unwashed and unworn, with or without a receipt. Did we mention that all U.S. returns ship free? Once we’ve processed your return, your refund typically will post within 1–2 billing cycles. All sales are final after 45 days from the purchase date. For returns or exchanges on sets, all items in the set must be returned to be processed accurately. Items that are damaged or defective may be returned through our Returns Portal for orders within our 45 day return policy. For orders outside of our 45 day return policy, reach out to our Customer Service team at customer_service@janieandjack.com for assistance with any damaged or defective items.
Holiday Return Policy
For purchases made on or after November 1st, 2023, the following policy applies: Items purchased in stores or online between November 1 and December 24, 2023 may be returned by January 31, 2024 or 45 days after purchase, whichever is later. Online items returned by mail must be received at our facility by January 31, 2023, or 45 days after purchase, whichever is later. Please allow 7–10 days for return mail. Proof of purchase is required.
Online Purchases
For your convenience, online purchases, except for select third party styles, can be returned to any store in the U.S. (excluding Outlet stores and closing stores) or for free through the mail. Online orders cannot receive price adjustments in our retail stores and merchandise exchanges are only available through Janie and Jack stores. Online purchases made with third party checkout methods (Afterpay, Klarna) may only be returned through the mail.

Return by Mail
We offer free shipping on all U.S. returns. To mail in your return, complete the Return Mail Form (the bottom half of the packing slip) and fill out the "Quantity Returned,” "Reason Code,” and enclose it with your merchandise. U.S. customers can generate a return label by “Starting a Return” from the Order Details page of your account, by clicking on the link in your shipping confirmation page, or by using the QR code on the packing list. Returns must be postmarked within 45 days of the purchase date. Customers worldwide should use an insured mail service; we are not responsible for items which we do not receive. Shipping fees involved in making a return to janieandjack.com will not be reimbursed. Packages must be returned prepaid; we cannot accept COD deliveries. For returns or exchanges on sets, all items in the set must be returned to be processed accurately. Store purchases cannot be returned by mail.

With Original Receipt
Merchandise may be exchanged or a refund will be issued in the original form of payment for the price paid when returned within 45 days of purchase.
With No Receipt
Refunds over $5 will be issued in the form of a Merchandise Credit or merchandise exchange for the current selling price. Merchandise Credits can only be used for in-store purchases.

Return or Exchange a Gift in Store
Find a store. Bring your item and receipt/packing list. Tell the associate you’d like to make a gift return and you’ll be credited in the form of a Merchandise Credit.
International Returns
